Review:

I See Stars have really expanded thier influences on this record. The band's trademark electronic post hardcore sound is still present, if only just, but 'The End Of The World Party' sees them taking a step away from '3D', and attempting to make a move into pop punk territory. They've always been a pop band at heart, and this aspect has really been given more prominence on this album. The title track sees a return of the disco like drumming, and features a dark symphonic breakdown in the bridge, while 'Still Not Quite Enough' echoes Relient K, and 'Over It' sounds suspiciously like Owl City until a breakdown makes an appearance. There's unfortunately less screaming, however this is more than compensated by the stellar songwriting.
