Review:
Although there is a some brilliant material on this record, it seems as if Helia ran out of ideas for their debut album, and they would have been wise to cut half the material and release an EP instead. However the quality material does make this album a worthy listen, and fans of artists such as His Statue Falls and Asking Alexandria should enjoy this effort. It doesn't break any new ground, and overly relies on the same breakdown rhythms and chords, however I really got into the keyboard work on this album, as there was a variety of sounds used, including piano; surprisingly rare for this genre. Lead single "Str8 To North-East Lights" stands above the rest, which features head banging mosh and an extremely melodic chorus.
