Review:
House Vs. Hurricane have always been a band that does things their own way, and this is no exception. 'Perspectives' sees them continue in the vein of 'Forfeitures', fusing synths with their unique riff driven style of post hardcore. The techno sections are worked into the songs much better and it feels more cohesive as a whole, however doesn't have the same lasting value as their debut. Standout song would have to be 'Off The Wall' which takes the meaning of epic to a whole new level with an uplifting and melodic chorus. My only criticism is that the keyboard player seems to rely on the same sounds too much, and as the album progresses it all tends to sound the same, but it's still worth a listen.
