Review:

One of the few trancecore bands to achieve more prominent mainstream success, Abandon All Ships follow the tried and true formulas of the genre, but since they do it so well there's really no need to push any boundaries here. Contrary to bands such as Asking Alexandria, they do attempt to work in more electronics throughout the music, creating a much grander sound, and I think it's this that saves them from falling into the void of mediocrity. Fan favourite 'Take One Last Breath' is a solid trancecore anthem, while 'Bro My God' features some truly brutal moments. Unfortunately the clean vocals are heavily auto-tuned, although it does add to the authenticity of the more mainstream sound they're aiming for, which is in essence a real trancecore party album.
